Bob Walter "Bud" Crittenden Obituary

DENISON - Bob Walter Crittenden, age 67, passed away Sunday, January 17, 2016 at his home in Denison.

Mr. Crittenden was born October 28, 1948 in Denison, Texas the son of Cleo and Joyce (Hale) Crittenden. Bob was raised in Denison where he attended and graduated high school. He was a very patriotic man who served his country with great pride in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. Bob married his sweet bride, Kimberle Kappler on July 18, 1990 in Denison, Texas. Mr. Crittenden worked as a self-employed painting contractor for many years in the area and later worked at O'Reilly Auto Parts to keep himself busy. No words could explain all of the positive attributes of Bob's life. He was a man of great integrity who will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved him.

Mr. Crittenden is survived by his beloved family, his bride, Kimberle Crittenden, son, Jon Kappler and wife, Stephanie, two grandchildren, Macie and L.J. Kappler, brother, Bryan Crittenden, two sisters, Donna Kemper and Debbie Hudson, close cousins who was more like a brother, Mike Tappan and wife, Pam, cousin, John Tappan and wife, Sandra, and numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Cleo and Joyce Crittenden and grandparents, Homer and Eula Lee Hale.
